Usually we are looking at store bought insecticides, anti fungal, to treat various plant problems. we have mentioned elsewhere that treating the symptom is treated in isolation and not really considered as signal that the problem with the plant is a cue that the plant is in someway disconnected to its needs from its immediate needs or perhaps placement in the garden. this is not to say that those selling you a product never talk about conditions in your garden since they certainly do, rather the point is that a certain mindset for the quick fix without recognizing that whatever the root cause of your problem may or may not be addressed
