Arriving at a fundamental point to summarize economics is perhaps not as easy as it seems some would suggest that the transaction model of economics provides a comprehensive understanding of the issue. Transactionalism
Money really combines two separate functions, trade and capital.
-Thomas Greco introduced me to this idea. And while the distinction is not absolute, capital usually can be seen as a separate function that requires a build-up of resources for a large scale project. Also worth noting is how the future profiting from such capital projects is allocated
The role of economic ideology-
Again this may serve more as a placeholder than a clear breakdown or grand summary of the supposedly two branches of economic ideology. In this country some would argue that the discussion have been all too consistent with the same arguments, more or less, repeated over and over. One possibility in this section would to be further breakdown of some of the common memes surrounding this distinction for instance the topic of less tax means an increased ability for individuals to succeed in business
Selecting when in where to include economic ideology and narratives into the process-
A place-marker for sure, and it really belongs in the discussion of process. However it hopefully serves as reminder that looking at information about general economics and our attitudes about such discussions can potential set-up roadblocks in local cooperative process that may not need to be bogged down about attitudes which are often derived more from our attitudes about existing large scale economic systems and may not have a lot of particular relevance to initial local economic activity
The reality of price
Here is perhaps the best example of how the larger economic system can be dismissed in a wholesale fashion as fundamentally impacting local systems. There is no getting around the fact that store bought food is cheap and easy compared to growing food yourself or being part of an impetus to develop such local systems. At the same time we might consider that there is a complicated series of interactions and institutions which form the backdrop for the price we see at stores, and we may want to consider at how to slowly effect some of that context while at the same time dealing with the economic reality of price
Environmental concerns-
Again a large scale concern that we try to cordon off from local concerns to some degree. cordoned off does not mean, not concerned, it merely suggests that we look closely when we want to add the overlays to large scale concerns and when we do not. The main idea seems fairly obvious, something like, can we make estimates of how our entire economic system effects the planet thus local environmental concerns related to local economic activity which is the subject matter of most of our conversation here. Such local issues obviously reflect those at the larger scale so there is indeed considerable overlap. Health concerns also have a special relationship to environmental issue both local and large scale
Efficiency
Dissecting economic mindsets that drive personal notions of value
This section is really an offshoot of the section above regarding economic ideology but would also include alternative ideologies or different forms of providing context
When moving towards and mindsets we add layers of complexity
Positive criteria for markets which include the adoption guiding principles such as sustainability
Models of markets utilizing positive practices
Nature of positive mental states and economics

Quotas may appear similar to central planning but can also mimic highly organized consumer /producer coordination
